Fox's 24 Recognizes The Importance Of Scanning Inbound PackagesTuesday, January 19. 2010For those of you watching the 2 hour premiers of Fox's 2010 version of 24 you probably saw how CTU was thankful that the UN scanned and tagged all inbound packages. CTU used this information to draw on all packages received including who the package was sent by and for what recipient it was meant for. This is exactly what SQBX package tracking software does. SQBX users simply log in to SQBX online, enter the sender and recipient details, then print a barcode that uniquely identifies that package. Each movement of the package is date and time stamped and marked with the user's details that moved the package. A complete history of the movement to the point of delivery is maintained. It sounds like a prefect opportunity to make SQBX the official sponsor of 24! Online chat support experience and expectationsSunday, August 2. 2009As a marketing person my technical skills are far below being deemed an operating system guru or a hardware genious. Recently while working out of my home office, my laptop decided not to boot up. After several frustrating attempts to revive it I decided it was time to call the manufacturer. I got on the manufacturer's website and started a chat session. A chat session should be a a convenient support channel for both sides of the support call. This particular support call was a painful experience. I waited more than 15 minutes before someone from the manufacturer acknowledged me. Than each response to a question I gave took 10 minutes for the manufacturer to respond. It felt like this tech person had ten chat sessions going on at one time. The worst part was that on several occasions by the time she came around to me she asked me the same question I had answered 10 minutes ago. You might be able to get by that but…when when she started confirming each response I made to her that was more than I could handle. After one hour and fifteen minutes later I was tired, frustrated and had the same problem. So what should we ”reasonably” expect from a support chat session?

Tracking Packages on CampusFriday, June 5. 2009When you have several buildings, floors, departments, and rooms to deliver to, managing all of those packages can be a gargantuan task. Many times large organizations like colleges and universities need to set up defined delivery routes to maximize the time of the delivery personnel and minimize unnecessary movements. They can receive a wide variety of packages that are destined to be delivered to an even wider population of recipients over a large geographic area. By establishing delivery routes, the carriers will know to whom and more importantly where to deliver the package. SQBX inbound package tracking software has the capability to utilize delivery routes to tightly manage not only the packages that are out on delivery, but also the people that are doing those deliveries. We can even take this a step further and assign special instructions to a particular tracking number, recipient, or both so that the delivery personnel will know exactly what to do with a package. Reduce lost material, backtracking, and improve the overall efficiency of your receiving center with SQBX package tracking software. To learn more about how delivery routes may assist your operation please call today.
